"A Wonderful Stay at the Primavera Apartment – Helpful Tips for Travelers We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Primavera apartment in Florence! The apartment was fully renovated, and we highly recommend it to other travelers. One of the biggest conveniences for us was being able to park our car right in front of the door, which made unloading and loading our luggage easy. The apartment has a fully stocked kitchen, including a mini fridge/freezer. One little tip for future guests: the dishes are stored in the cabinet to the left as you enter. We didn't discover them until the night we were leaving, but fortunately, we didn't need them during our stay! Dining Recommendation We also had a wonderful surprise at the restaurant on the property. The authentic Italian vintage decor created a lovely atmosphere, and both the food and service were excellent. It was well worth the drive! A helpful tip: I recommend driving to the restaurant rather than walking, particularly at night. The restaurant is about a five-minute drive from the apartment, up a winding, rocky mountain road. After arriving, park behind the building where you will see the letter “P.” Then walk around to the front entrance, where you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the city. We reserved the first seating at 7:30 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and serves dinner Tuesday through Sunday. Lunch is also available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. "We received an email from the hotel before our stay telling us to simply reply to the email with any questions we may have. We did reply, with a few questions and never heard from them. Second, we couldn't find any parking spaces available around the hotel so we parked in the garage below the hotel. We had a 6:30 am flight and so at 5am we were trying to exit the garage using a machine at the exit. We were not told ahead of time how to do that, and despite our many efforts were not able to exit the garage. We finally found a hotel staff member at that hour, and she told us what to do, but it did not work. We found her again and she said she would push a button and we would be able to exit. This also did not work in the beginning but it finally did work, but this was also a negative experience. Third, we were told there would be coffee available at that early hour, but it was not available."

"Nous avons l'habitude de nous arrêter à l'hôtel Gate 4 fois par an, en Mars et en octobre. C'est pour nous une étape obligée pour aller visiter le sud de l'Italie. L'hôtel est bien situé géographiquement. Il a l'avantage d'avoir un parking et un petit déjeuner complet. Le personnel est sympa et les chambres sont toujours d'une extrême propreté. Nous y revenons tous les ans avec grand plaisir."

"Great hotel, not too far from either train station. Staff are lovely. Breakfast was great, loads of choice. Only downside was our room, which despite being the largest room in the hotel, felt very impersonal and clinical, and the toilet flush was damaged, though it did work. Also we were in the eaves, so very little view or natural light. Access to the swimming pool was a bonus! Loved Montecatini, would stay again, but in a different room."
