At first, this review was going to be dismal. The room was nicely modern, but nothing other than the bed and TV in the room, the bed was 11 inches from the slider, the TV didn't work, the toilet didn't work, and the drapes wouldn't close with a glowing sign in my eyes all night. Hotel El Caballo Blanco is our favorite place to stay at Mahahual Beach. We have been to Mahahual a number of times and now we find ourselves wanting to only stay at this hotel. It is convenient to everything there is to do at this beautiful location. Plus, the hotel itself is very clean with nice roomy beds and showers. Fresh linens and other amenities are supplied. I have been traveling to Mahahual for solo fishing adventures every year for at least the last 8 years, and I have always stayed at the Cabanas Del Doctor, and I always will! I don't need anything fancy, but for the very reasonable price of a room or cabana here you won't find anything even close to as good. Also, the woman who runs the hotel/cabanas is wonderful, I look forward to seeing her every year. Hope to be back again soon, thank you for everything once again!
