This property was very nice excellent location, good view of the water the room we had which was a suite was excellent. Our only complaint was I’m not sure if this was a training hotel for staff staff, but the staff was not knowledgeable of the area or helpful about finding dining or activities

Vila Monte was simply spectacular! The rooms were spacious and beautiful and the grounds were breathtaking! Rui and Oliver at A Terra were so sweet, Ana from housekeeping was just lovely, and Bruno at eh pool was just great! We will definitely be back again but next time stay longer!!

The hotel is very nice. I totally remodeled. The rooms are soundproof and you cannot hear a single thing. Great location and a great staff. Would definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for a very quiet location with country views, then this is the place. The expansive grounds and pool area are very well maintained. The staff are excellent and certainly make you feel welcome and they are also very helpful. There are only about 20 rooms. Nice touch is providing two bathrobes. Clean Clean Clean! Staff is absolutely wonderful! Jessica was extra helpful! I would definitely stay again! The breakfast was wonderful… I have a fear of small elevators… The sweetest gal who worked in housekeeping actually accompanied me on the elevator to ensure me it was okay! ( I had a scary experience in Barcelona last Summer on a tiny elevator) The elevator works great and is fast and efficient! Amazing little boutique hotel experience!

We had a great stay at Solar Mendoça, it is a wonderful hotel with equally as wonderful staff. The location is perfect and easy access from the train station (about a 10 min walk on level streets) also it’s very close to old town. I loved my stay at the Oakmoon. I was the only one there for two days, so I had free use of my spacious room, plus the open-plan full kitchen and living room area and the funky little interior patio with hand-painted mural. The house is on a narrow street of mostly private homes and a few bars and restaurants and close to plenty of other restaurants, shops, the marina, cathedral, laundromat, etc. Sarah, the house manager, is friendly and very helpful, if you need anything.

The bathroom has mold and mildew. The staff were very friendly and accommodating especially Reuben!!

We went into this stay fairly blind, so we weren’t sure what to expect. Let me tell you, we would absolutely stay here again. This place is perfectly appointed, check in was so easy and amazing, and you have anything you need. Be pleasantly prepared to experience Ritz Carlton style service!
