We arrived to the welcoming white arches and garden of an older hotel which had been modernized (with an infinity style swimming pool that includes a shaded area) and kept up, perched above a deep bay just north of magnificent Alghero. This hotel is in amazing area and perfect beach. Food at the restaurant was one of the best we tried in Sardinia. Next to the hotel are more beaches walking distance and with a small hike. My only complain was the bedroom, we had junior suite with ocean view which was amazing but the bed was bad and is cover with a plastic to protect the mattress which causes a lot of heat, also bathroom a little uncomfortable. Just for the price room could be a little bit better.
Sophia was extraordinarily helpful and informative and also did a wonderful wine tasting! This resort is an oasis outside of the busy and hyper-touristy albeit beautiful city of Alghero. There were two of us traveling together and decided to stay in one room, the only option online through Expedia was a single bed room so we booked that and hoped for the best. Very attractive resort, Mediterranean but modern property extends side to side with buildings in a U, so everyone has a view. Staff was so friendly and helpful from front desk to bartenders. Spacious patio overlooking the sea. Only issue was probably personal- bed was a bit hard. But I made a comfy place in the daybed and slept very well.
The owner, Pasquale, was extremely friendly and assisted in making our trip wonderful, along with his adorable dogs, with restaurant suggestions and great conversation. Absolutely loved staying here! So many things that are positive- the view from the balcony was stunning! We were blessed with a beach concert that was so much fun to watch from the balcony. The bed was the most comfortable of our entire stay in all of Italy! And talk about an amazing shower I can’t even even begin to describe it. Angelo was a great host- he made our two day stay in Alghero unforgettable . We had the opportunity to have taste of his wine as well and it was impeccable taste.
