I came here on a solo trip to hike the Drakensberg, and it was a wonderful success! Ardmore is situated on a beautiful property with spectacular views and nice walks that leave from the farm itself. 15 minutes driving, you can also start much more adventurous hikes from the Drakensberg Park at the Monk’s Cowl trail head, and those day hikes are wonderful and very well-marked.
