We stayed for five days and loved the place. The room, bathroom were clean and the bed very comfortable. Every morning we had breakfast on the terrace and different options daily. The property is quiet and in a wonderful landscape, near restaurants, shops and close to a variety of hiking trails and waterfalls. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful with all our needs! I totally recommend this establishment and look forward to possible vacations there again.
It was a great place to stay with a family of 4. We got the full German experience. The rooms don’t have AC and they are laid out like German apartments, so it gave us an authentic experience. The restaurant was really good, but be sure to get reservations for dinner. It fills up fast.

What a magical hotel!! It was the summer mansion of a Baron and you are treated like royalty! Parking is right in front of the entrance. The staff insisted on bringing in our bags and then accommodated my 80 yr old husband's mobility issue with a ground floor room. I cannot rave enough about our room. I was there to work with a show at the Festspielhaus (performing arts theater). The hotel is directly across the street from the theater. The property was perfect for our weekend trip. Located in a semi-secluded area with short walks to everything. Tight corner to get to the parking. Additional parking within less than five minutes.
