Hotels in Belisario Quevedo

We had a wonderful experience in Quito. We were told to watch for pick pockets and shady taxis. Just make sure you get into a yellow taxi with the green rectangular government issued sign on the side. I even left my wallet in a taxi one night and the driver came back and honked his horn until we heard him and went back to get the wallet. Hotel owner said we were lucky to get it back. Taxi driver did take ten bucks out of my wallet but I didn't feel bad about that. I figured he thought he...

Its a decent mid-range full service hotel with a restaurant. Staff is very helpful and attentive. It’s in an area that’s rough after dark but there’s a guard 24/7 and the staff is very protective. Nice hotel, clean and mid-update. No complaints.

The hotel makes a nice stay over when transiting via Quito to the Galapagos or other destination in Ecuador. Staff and service were great, very welcoming and helpful. We ate dinner in the Botanica Restaurant and found the service and quality excellent (try the Tempura Shrimp entree). The heated book was very welcome and while we did not have time to use it, the fitness center was large with a great selection of modern equipment. The Executive Lounge was nice with a protected outdoor sitting...

This hotel is a gem! It seems like a 5 star retreat. We checked in extremely late due to our international flight and a simple email to the hotel was responded with assurances our room would be waiting, and it was. The lobby and room was always impeccable. I cannot say enough about the staff! At one point I had difficulty with an ATM across the street and mentioned it to Martin at the front desk and this gentleman went above and beyond by contacting the bank that owned the ATM and consistently...

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite... 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Excellent unit. A/C worked perfectly. The dryer actually got hot and dried our clothes. The kitchen was fully stocked with a real coffeemaker (not the horrible single pod that most hotels now use). There was a full size refrig and freezer with ice trays. Housekeeping cleaned the unit daily. Shower always had hot water and water pressure was strong. You have access to the Marriott hotel connected... benefit of using the...

Cerca del parque la Carolina

Location, great neighborhood, staff was very accommodating.

This was an amazing Sanctuary located in the mountains above the city of Quito. It was very easy to get there. We had the room called the cathedral which was amazing with a natural in-ground hot tub the authenticity of the rooms and the decor made you feel as though you are having the best Ecuadorian experience ever. They take care of you like kings and queens. The views are incredible of the mountains from the comfort of your bed and Lamas and peacocks at your windows and doors so peaceful so...

We stayed at Hotel Casa Gardenia for two lovely nights. It's located on a very quiet, nondescript cobblestone street just a few blocks from the Plaza Grande. The owners and staff were all very helpful and gave us a map of the area with recommendations on sites to visit. If you like to just walk around and explore, then the Hotel is in a great location for doing just that. We explored almost all of Old Town Quito without ever having to hire a driver. The Hotel has a lovely sitting area with a...

Hotel Finlandia has great staff that speak English and Spanish. The rooms offer ample space with adequate closet space. The bathroom was nicely appointed with a large shower and a small countertop. The Hotel has good security and the elevators only open at your floor (activated by the room key). The bed and pillows were a bit more firm than I am used to, but certainly comfortable enough. The location is great, next to Parque Carolina and only 2 blocks from a large modern mall (Quicentro). ...

I chose this hotel for its proximity to Quito's Plaza Grande and for the hotel's own plaza to show those traveling with me some of the architectural style, knowing that we wouldn't have a lot of time in Quito. But when we arrived we were blown away! This hotel is one of the most charming I've ever seen after travels on five continents. It is very spacious but never felt busy. After you go through the lobby it opens up into the large plaza shown in the pictures. From my quick walk around, it...

Besides being a clean, beautiful and comfortable hotel, the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXTRODINARY. I forgot my family's passports and money in the hotel safe and left for the airport which is 40 min away. I didn't realize my mistake until I was in the airport terminal with only 1 hour before our flight. Le Parc was SO ON TOP OF IT that they noticed my mistake and DROVE MY PASSPORT/MONEY TO THE AIRPORT and found me in the terminal. I was in shock and it was unbelievable! It was something that only...

We had a great stay at the Hampton. The staff was great and the hotel very comfortable

It was a lovely hotel in the heart of 'La Mariscal'! I was traveling by myself (female) and found it very safe to walk around the area to Plaza Foch (just 1-2 minute walk from the hotel) to get a bite to eat or hail a taxi or go for a drink. The staff in the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel room was really nice and clean and also the bathroom was just lovely and clean to use. The hotel even let me store my luggage free of charge when I went to stay at Banos for 1...

I was very impressed with both the people and the facilities. I traveled alone to a place that was completely strange to me. I never felt alone. Everyday at breakfast (very tasty) the staff made sure that my plan for the day would work. They had a sincere interest in my well being and my experience in Ecuador. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel. They made my trip wonderful.

I arrived very late. The hotel owner was there to greet me and check me in. They accommodated a later breakfast time. Was very happy and would stay again!
