"Had a lovely 6 night stay here. Staff very helpful. Place was spotless but hotel in need of real updating. Lots of rust at door of bathroom/shower and just generally run down. Saying this though I would stay again for a short stay. Parking was good and also being near to tram into Orleans was great too."

"Parking was really easy and the breakfast buffet is great. It includes protein (ham, cheese, cold cuts, eggs), croissants, crepes, and cakes. The best of French and Northern European breakfasts! The pool is really great - the water temperature was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. My wife and I had a great time."

Ongoing restoration has been done very sympathetically- we visited over 50 years ago and to see the improvements over the years was astounding. The evening meal on the terrace was unforgettable. "The front desk was very helpful with clarifying certain concerns. Explanation was very thorough. There was also good candy at the front desk. Rooms were very clean all the way from the floor, beds, tables, toilet, to the showers."

"I'll start by saying we weren't able to arrive until 30 mins before check-in ended, which must have had an influence. The parking was full, I had to park in the restaurant next door and haul the suitcases over. The staff were rushing to leave. Wifi password was scribbled and we couldn't read it to access it. I walked back to the desk to inquire about it, but they'd already closed the desk and shut the lights off and left the lobby before check-in closed, so we must have been the last guests to arrive. The hotel backs onto a park, and the window sills in our room were full of dead bugs (not just 2-3 bugs, more like 20-30). There is only one liquid soap in the bathroom - located in the shower (no sink handwashing soap), and the shower soap pump was almost totally empty, and there was no shampoo or any toiletries provided, so we had to use our own shampoo bottles to wash our hands."

"My family, including our two young children, stayed at Repère Sauvage for three nights in late June 2026, and we had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, with thoughtful attention to every detail, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool, the bicycles, and the delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly stay here again on a future trip. Highly recommended!"

"The staff were amazing. Nothing too much and very friendly. The dinner and breakfast were phenomenal! I don’t think I’ve ever had such a good breakfast - the fruit salad was out of this world. And the terrace and garden were lovely for relaxing and eating in. Thank you so much!"
