My girlfriend and I started here on our first visit to the Whiteface/Lake Placid area for new years. The hotel is very close to Whiteface ski area. Al, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, gave us plenty of information on what was in the area. The continental breakfast served every day was one of the best I've ever had! It's not a resort by any means, but the room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back!

So my family takes at least two camping trips a year to the ADKs, this year we were concerned about some pretty bad weather coming in so decided to end the trip in a hotel.
