This was my 3rd stay at North Zen Villas and it remains a blissful place to be at. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The resort’s SEADS restaurant covers breakfast, lunch and dinner serving delicious food. The sunset view is spectacular from @ NZV as well. Best place to be in Panglao island.

It's clean and the Buffet Breakfast is Good!

I’m writing this as an American tourist that has been to all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and Costa Rica a few times (to help you American readers compare). This resort is 5 stars. Staff is very nice and helpful. The beach itself is amazing. Clear waters, white soft sand. Just watch out for the sea urchins. Staff can give you more details about that. My 1st stay at Hennan was remarkable that is why I chose to stay again. My expectations were so high however the experience was quite different. Probably it was so crowded in the pool and by the beach area, including the lobby. Unlike before, there was a staff who greeted u as soon as u enter with a welcome drink and a sort of a lei given to u. Noticed the upholsteries in the lobby are dirty. The atmosphere is not as relaxing as before. But, the staff remain courteous and friendly.

The only bad thing about this hotel is the transportation. They have only one shuttle to alona beach and the taxi arragements are overpriced. Better take a tricicle.

This place is old, a strong country feel. If you are into 5 star treatment its not for you.i have spiders and gecko in my bathroom. You could only hear crickets and lizards. The room is spacious, and very old feel. That makes it so special. My balcony view has a forest vibe.green garden and blooms every where. You must try their home made ice cream..to die for! Hammocks on the beach have nets around the coconuts so they don't fall on your head, staff smiles and says hello good morning how was your day, the grounds are manicured with no detail spared, the pool invites you for a swim, a beautiful beach,they have bacon for breakfast, they have an art gallery to enjoy paintings and a ping pong table, the tours arranged from the front desk are with your own driver and they are kind patient and knowledgeable, they have a DVD library to catch up on movies ......

This property is very nicely decorated and is in walking distance to bars and restaurants on the beach. The only issue I had was the pool at the beach end of the building was off limits to tawala guests unless we paid 1500ph. Seems extreme to swim
