I based my booking on the free airport shuttle. The hotel exceeded my expectations! We arrived by train. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from the train station. There's a short section walking along a busy road (no sidewalk, but a trail), but an easy walk. The hotel room was basic and clean. Comfotable bed, spacious bathroom, some rooms have balconies. We stayed here for part of our honeymoon; one of the best hotels we stayed in! The bed was perfectly firm and warm, perfectly plush blankets warm cooler nights. The bathroom I had to figure out the swinging shower door, but most likely I never seen this outside of the USA. Very modern interior, wish we stayed here more nights! Great private garage , and distance is very close to the Iper La Grande huuuuuuge supermarket and mall. Will definitely want to stay here again.
Clean, very convenient location. Close to shops, restaurants. Just 10 min walk from train station with trains to Milan. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. If you do not want stay in a big crowded city and be close to everything at the same time, then this is the best choice.
We stayed 1 night in Ibis Milano Malpensa airport last week - and it was a great stay. All staff members were helpful + attentive. Food + drink options were nice. I highly recommend this hotel when you have a 1 maybe 2 night layover stay in Milan + need to be close to the airport!

A new hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful planning our day trips. Food was was delicious! Rooftop bar is recommended! Had the king superior room although its their smallest room it was large enough for my wife and I. Location is perfect, within walking distance to everything. Would stay again.
Gorgeous trees and flowers in April and many birds singing; also, you have beautiful views of Lake Maggiore. This is a wonderful place for relaxing. Especially nice if coming from a wintry country! The staff at Hotel Royal was very helpful and they spoke English very well!
Nice old style hotel with proper lobby, right across from lakefront promenade. Best value found! Very friendly staff, free gated parking! Just our front is quiet lawn area with bars and restaurants putting their chairs out at night. Loved it.
Enchanting family run hotel. Would have stayed longer if we would have known how nice it was. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Spacious rooms. Excellent location. The hotel made reservations for us to dine on Isola Pescodore Island. We were picked up in front of the hotel, steps away from the marina and ferries in a private boat at no charge. Had a delicious meal with a view to the ocean and the sun setting. Free ample car parking and free lobby wifi.
