The property owner was outstanding. He helped with our luggage. Breakfast was a Feast of Flavors. Parking was nearby on the street. The bed was comfortable and the room was lovely.
What a stunning boutique hotel! Located in a lovely beach town with plenty of beach access, restaurants and shopping. The area is so relaxing and you are an easy drive to some of Sicily’s popular attractions like Modica, Scicli, Ragusa or an afternoon visiting the beautiful Castillo de Donnafugata. But you may not want to leave the resort. The breakfast is amazing, the staff so accommodating. The sparkling pool is so inviting. Architecturally stunning. Most all breads, meats, cheeses, and even vines made, bred or grown on their 38 hectares of surrounding property. Service was everything you would expect from a 5 star accommodation. Room appropriate for surroundings but a little small.
This is a lovely working farm but with all the modern conveniences available. Room was comfortable with a beautiful view. The onsite restaurant has excellent food for both breakfast and dinner - didn't try lunch. Rossana was an excellent host in the restaurant in the evenings. A little village is around the corner if you wanted something a bit different. Enjoyed our stay here.
The customer service here was completely above and beyond. Only a couple of them speak english, but everyone was obviously eager to help us and tell us where to shop, eat and tour. The employees were so friendly and helpful, it was just a lovely experience at this hotel and the people who work there. We would love to go back soon. The location is gorgeous - directly across the street from the Mediterranean.
If you are going to visit Ragusa (and you should), this is absolutely the best place to stay. There is no beating the view and their "secret staircase" saved us many extra steps when walking to the Ibla, which we did numerous times. We had a car with us and found it easy to drive to the hotel and find parking. The gentleman running the place was great. He helped us with recommendations and served us a lovely breakfast every morning. A note about Ragusa, the Ibla are is what you come for, but...
I would absolutely recommend Sicli Albergo Diffuso to anyone looking to stay a few days in beautiful Scicli. Our room was in a historic building, was immaculately clean and comfortable, and had so much character. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and it was the perfect place to stay in the area. I hope to return someday and stay again! It was a truly wonderful place to stay.
