We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 young children for a long ski weekend. The location exceeded our expectations: the hotel is located less than 5 minutes from Belleayre Mountain. For a family with young children, the convenience factor couldn't be beat. The inn is nestled in the quaint town of Pine Hill (there's really only one road). A slice of heaven. From Buddys warm greeting to everyone on staff they are just the nicest, most witty and welcoming staff I’ve ever seen, without being pretentious. The chef hits it out of the park, creative and expertly prepared and freshly sourced. We will be back to relax and decompress again.A wonderful experience sinking into feather beds and Pendleton robes.

A really nice stay and a friendly host. Tanya had good suggestions for places to eat, visit, etc. and made delicious breakfasts. She even lent me an extension cord when the venue where my band was playing didn’t have one. The rooms were great and we had our own private bath. Highly recommend!

I knew the moment I drove up that this was a great find. Perfect blend of country charm and convenience. Great little restaurant/deli/general store, with friendly and efficient staff. Restaurant had some great Russian specialty foods and beers. Liquor store on premises too. The room was simple and comfortable with a good tv and its own themostat, and really, really clean! I'm looking forward to coming back in spring 2015 when the microbrewery opens.

Please has old authentic charm

The Shandaken Inn is a gem of a property! Our room was spacious, spotless and so inviting. And the staff, particularly Marissa, made us feel so welcome and at home with her warm personality. The breakfasts were outstanding and the entire property is just beautiful! There are also great hiking options close by. We wouldn’t hesitate to book a room here again!

Such a special and magical destination

The lodge is new (or at least under new ownership). The new team is running a fantastic operation. Super welcoming and friendly. The place has a true “summer camp” vibe where new people meet one another and leave as friends. Def book your next stay in the Catskills here!

Pete, owner, was extremly helpful in the check in process, dinner suggestions, and wonderful breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended and will be back for sure.

We had the three bedroom Apt 31. It was very spacious for 5 of us. Huge kitchen and two full bath. We have another family visiting for a few hours and played games in the living room. The bagels for breakfast was surprisingly good! Make sure getting to the breakfast before 9am, otherwise there’s possibility of running out of stock.

Beautiful property with amazing view close to ski area and hiking trails. Lovely owner who took excellent care of me on my stay. Was able to switch my second night reservation from another of the owner's property back to the bnb without any problem. Quiet. Perfect place for a romantic get away, although my stay was work related, and I was a single traveler. Felt very safe as a women traveling alone. I needed to leave both mornings before breakfast, but the host/ owner asked if she could...

Great staff, friendly and accommodating. Spa has a great steam room, also enjoyed the outdoor co-ed hot tub overlooking the stream. King suite was spacious with a jetted tub.

We attended a bluegrass festival and used their place as a place to sleep and nothing more. It was very quaint, clean and quiet. Just perfect for our needs!
