Decent accommodation, nothing special. Breakfast was good. Location was far from city area and not really accessible by public transportation. Having said that, good place to experience the countryside by walking or cycling with friends and family.
I loved this hotel - feels more like a home. Has a screened porch, lovely back yard, with koi pond and stone table/stools. Also has a water bottle filling station in the kitchen - hot or cold. Rooms are airy, clean, well-lit.

We loved our room at Zi Qing Cheng B&B. We chose it because of the reviews and they were not wrong! Our family of 4 had a car, so it made our trips to Taroko Gorge convenient (a must see!) However after hiking, it was so nice to come back to our clean and comfortable room in the city. Here we parked on the street and walked the area, which had so many great food places and good shopping. Great hotel with nice amenities at an affordable price! Very nice decoration and furnishings. New hotel, very comfortable, and staff very helpful. We found the free washer/dryer extremely handy to clean up our Taroko Gorge hiking clothes. The front desk provided excellent info to do self-guided tours through Taroko, including bus timetables and shuttle service arrangement. They also pointed us to the local stone market and night market. Would stay here again.
Owners are extremely friendly and helpful - made sure I knew my way around the city and helped with booking a taxi when needed.
Breakfast vouchers provided - you get a choice between Mo Dou or McDonald's.
The property is pretty new and decked with sensors; motion sensors are installed so that they turn on whenever movement is sensed, cameras are installed in various corners of the property - just in the hallways though, not in the rooms :) - and keycard readers are installed on the doors...
