This was a fantastic hotel! Very new so everything clean and up to date. Design and lighting very nice. Bed super comfortable. Room had everything you need (fridge, kettle, good-sized towels). Appreciated having a proper hair dryer and conditioner in the bathroom. Two buses go right from the Locarno station to the hotel and since the hotel offers you a Ticino ticket, I traveled all over the area without having to pay any extra fees in transportation. Communication with the hotel even before arrival was good and clear. At the property they were pleasent and clear abkut everything. The room had a great view, was clean, spacious enough for our luggage and nicely designed. Great central location.
We loved the view, privacy, helpfulness of the staff when we had rental car issues and relaxing atmosphere at the Hotel Collinetta. The room was lovely and the air conditioning very much appreciated as it was quite warm for our stay. We ate at the restaurant several times during our 4 night stay and loved every meal. The breakfast was wonderful also. Collinetta was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Switzerland. We would definitely stay again.

The Millennium Hotel was an adorable boutique hotel, located just a five-minute walk from the train station and across the street from Lake Maggiore. My room was gorgeous, with a bed that felt like sleeping on clouds. Everything was extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious and the proprietors are very nice. They even offered to arrange a transportation card for me, but I couldn’t take advantage of that because, sadly, I only stayed one night on my way to Milan. I hope to return and stay longer.
Continental breakfast was very good. Parking was a problem but Anna gave us a great upgrade for our challenges. It's in a great area, two minutes walking from the Embarcadero that has the ferries to Isola Bella and Isola Bella. Grand classical hotel. Great staff, nice bar, outdoor restaurant, etc
To start , some of us can't leave without Ac , this property not only has one but one that works , ( those of you who travel through the old world understand). Service is exceptional, and property is not a resort size but big enough. Great for families and couples as well, available bikes for all ages, pool ( small but warm) gym, indoor pool, on site dining option , and again service excellent.
This was a bucket list experience. The location could not be beat, right in the heart of the old town. Sitting on our balcony watching the day unfold over Lake Maggiore and the Ascona promenade was incredibly beautiful. The staff were excellent and accommodated all of our needs and requests. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. We only stayed 2 nights but we could have spent a much longer time if our schedule allowed. Thank you Hotel Elevezia Ascona for a perfect stay!!
This hotel appears to be recently renovated and is in very good condition. It's very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have remained another night.
