We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel. Absolutely amazing experience. Hotel couldn't have been closer to the train/bus station and was beautiful. Staff went WAY above expectations to make us feel comfortable and welcome. So glad I made last minute decision to spend the night in Fussen rather than take a tour from Munich - hotel less expensive and was MUCH better!! Wish we would have been there 2 nights - so much to do. Room was HUGE and incredibly clean - best bathroom during our entire trip to Europe!. Super quiet in "new"...
