Clean and easy to find. Odd location but Walmart is across the road

I had a 5-night stay that was made very pleasant by Maddie (sp?) who offered to make me fresh coffee when I checked out at 4:30 am, and always had a positive attitude with any of my asks. This place is situated in between many farms and corn fields, at a truck stop, so the smell was very strong when it came in on the wind. There were times it didn't smell, too, so it's weather-based. rate I got that was $21 cheaper than Expedia. the staff was more than eager to take care of anything I needed

The hotel is very charming and clean. Lowell is a cute tiny and the locals are very nice. Service was great at hotel and nearby restaurant. Only downside of the hotel room was no thermostat to control individual room temp so it was a little chilly but not unbearable.

Very cool historic hotel. We had a great time hanging out in the bar downstairs and then only had to walk up to our room. The bathroom looked updated and was extremely clean. The king size bed was super comfortable.
