Such a great hotel! Right across from train station, express bus stop, and port for ferry to Naoshima. The owner and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They, thankfully, held my luggage before check in and well after check out so I could maximize my sightseeing in Naoshima. My room was well-appointed though small, but good for someone who doesn’t travel with large suitcases. The staff was incredibly kind - greeted me with a smile and the check in process was smooth as was the check out! The room was nice and clean but there wasn’t any soap whatsoever in my room. I’m sure if I needed some I could have asked but I was only there for a night and then I left so it didn’t really matter.
