We stayed one night prior to leaving Costa Rica. The hotel’s shuttle picked us up at the Sansa terminal and brought us directly to the property. If you’re looking to feel what it’s like to live in Costa Rica then this place is for you! It’s a property that has been turned into 14 rooms and it sits at the top of a hill overlooking all of the San José valley and the view is breathtaking!! Super quiet and very relaxing place, Lino, the property manager was great and helped us with everything we needed. This place was everything we wanted on our trip and we will be definitely coming back!

I was a little worried during the taxi ride to the hotel that I had made a terrible mistake in picking the hotel as some of the areas look a little rough (by American standards), however, once at the gated hotel I realized that I indeed had made a good choice when choosing the location as the property is incredibly calming and beautiful. Just know that since you are out of the city you will need to use Uber eat or a taxi to get food as there is no onsite restaurant.

Going to CR by myself; the staff at Gardens House were awesome. They treated me and those I met that also stayed there very well. I will def return to this place when I come back.

This is a brand new property, recently built. This hotel has a great location, steps from the Costa Rica Convention Center, there are shopping malls, clinics, restaurants, at walkable distance. There is shuttle service to the SJO airport, Breakfast was great too including costarican typical food. Hope to be staying here again soon!

We had a wonderful Christmas week at Canal Grande Lodge! Raffael and his staff were excellent hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. The small hotel was quiet and beautifully situated. You could walk to restaurants and a few small local stores. We enjoyed Santa Margaritas down the street on 2 nights of our stay. The staff at the Bougainvillea welcome and get to know each and every one of their guests. You feel like you are a guest in their own home. The rooms are clean and spacious with great views of the mountain or the garden - I had a tree top view of a flowering Margarita tree - sensational! This is the perfect place to stay near the airport. It is such an oasis in the midst of activity. The staff go out of their way to assist you.

The views were fantastic.

We stayed here last year on our trip to Costa Rica. Last year, the young woman who works the front desk was extremely helpful to us, so we came back this year. This woman helped us get our backpack back that we accidentally left in a hotel in Manual Antonio, making numerous phone calls back and forth, ultimately arranging to have the bag delivered to another hotel near the airport in San Jose. She even used her own personal phone, and was as nice as she could be in lieu of the fact I was...

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations. You can even request a bag breakfast to go when leaving the hotel before 6am.

You feel welcome the minute you set foot in the hotel! Staff is very helpful and at ease! Our shower didn't have hot water and they offered us immediately another bigger room with a great view as well. We kept our little room with our incredible view. Luckily the water problem was fixed very soon. :-) Our stay was very relaxed! I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel to anybody who just want relax and enjoy their holiday/stay in Santa Ana!

Everything was excellent, service, food and the most beautiful people. One thing that really annoyed me, every time your phone is unused for more than 10 minutes, you have to re-enter the WiFi code, as well as with your laptop

The staff at Colours Oasis is amazing, very attentive, and are there to help you with ANYthibg. As a Queer traveler who has been subjected to discrimination for other hotel staff in San Jose, CR it’s important for me to find a place that is welcoming to me and my Queer Family while we travel and Colours Oasis IS that spot. Huge thanks to, Isreal the manager for taking excellent care of us.

Although this hotel is located close to the airport and all the city amenities it feels like being deeper in the rain forest, perhaps because is surrounded by nature everywhere you look. Very quiet location, room was clean as well as the rest of the facilities, striking views, relaxing pools and private Jacuzzis.
