We had to book a stay in a hurry after our flight got canceled. Staff was very accommodating and the rooms were well appointed. Was very happy with our stay and the breakfast options in the morning. Our room was slightly warm but the staff was very helpful in adjusting the temperature settings to allow room to get cooler.
Super quiet despite being in the city center. Excellent blackout curtains. King-size and comfortable bed. Plenty of free toiletries. Kind and very helpful staff. Breakfasts offered good variety and kept us satisfied till dinnertime. Special thanks to breakfast room staffperson Paula, who filled our water bottles with ice and water each day as we headed out. Good location for exploring the city. Not a quibble but a note: ads for the hotel state it is 150 meters from the train station. That's true...

We stayed for a week in a queen suite at the One Shot Palacio on Rua Ceidofeita. The room was quiet, clean, and spacious, felt luxurious, had great storage, and boasted a comfortable mattress (unusual in any hotel!). We opted for a large terrace, too, though one improvement would be an umbrella or sunshade of some type. Front desk and hotel staff were terrific overall. The staff is helpful an pleasant. Check-in & out were effortless. My room was impeccably clean. Seems to be a solo or couple sort of accommodation...don't imagine it would interest families much.
