Close to lighthouse. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The accommodation was excellent. Would happily stay there again

We had arranged to stay at this hotel for only two nights at the end of a week long tour around Sri Lanka. However due to checking out of another hotel in the Galle area as it did not match our expectations we arranged an additional night which was no issue for them. The hotel has only been open a few months so everything is still in tip top condition. Our wish is that it stays like this as the rooms, location and service are all of high quality. So happy to have found this boutique hotel for the last day in Srilanka. The sushi restaurant had no digital menu on their IG account and had a very long wait time for orders but presuming that's because it was very quiet not many guests... Aside from that, beautiful experience in Hikkaduwa!

Amazing staff, pool, and food

I stayed here for three nights with two adults and two older kids. We had an enormous room with a huge bathroom, dressing room. large balcony and...a rooftop jacuzzi with an ocean view! The staff treated us like royalty, and we even had our own butler. We could take our meals wherever and whenever we liked - in our room, on the beach, by the pool or in the open air restaurant. The food was amazing! In early April it did not feel crowded at all, it felt like our own private beach with friends.

Everything about the Hotel Riu Sri Lanka was great. The staff, the food, the facility--you couldn't ask for a better experience.
