Exceptional stay at Camp Figtree - the staff were absolutely outstanding and there was nothing that wasn't anticipated. Meals were superb, game drives were wonderful, nature walk was tremendous, and simply lying around the pool was amazing. Everything was out of this world.
This is an "Out of Africa" style tented camp with no electricity! Visitors stay in quaint, private tents with private bathrooms. Daily safari's are led by knowledgeable guides. Ample food and beverages are included. There's room for 6 visitors total, so the experience is intimate and the staff treat you like family. Definitely worth experiencing. They handled our transportation to and from Port Elizabeth Airport.
Truly, a five star experience that went above and beyond expectations because of Ranger John! He is an expert level two ranger; has deep knowledge of the nature and history of the land is completely unparalleled! There are many times where he was able to see animals that no one else could see because of his 40 years of experience in the bush.
