The general experience was quite good, the hotel menu selection was ok. and service quite good.
The public transportation was quite easy and accessible. .
However,there was a misunderstanding on the package booked.
Although my party consists of (4) four person, however, the breakfast was only available to (1) one person.
This was not made clear when the booking was made. we discovered this the day we checked in..

We booked reservation in Island Inn because the Amaryllis Beach Resort closed. It was our first all 'inclusive experience' and we were very pleased by the variety and quality of the meals provided. The owner of the Inn was a most gracious host and the staff one and all were a delight.
The property was more than I expected for the price I paid. Mark the owner is a very friendly and accommodating individual. Communication was extraordinary, he made sure that taxi service was available throughout my trip. George who was my driver was very kind, he went above and beyond to make sure my stay was memorable.

After reading a few of the reviews on this site I was wary, but we had an 18-hour layover and needed a place to sleep. I figured, whatever, we can at least just sleep there. We LOVED it. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating; the room was spacious (the closet behind the bathroom door could have fit a small bedroom set !), clean, and very comfortable; the facilities were perfect for what we needed. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this really cute apartment. Our apartment was #15, and it became our little home. The air conditioning and fan were welcome as the mornings in B'dos became warm quite quickly. The staff was very helpful and resolved our TV issues within minutes. Mrs. Brown is a sweetheart and made us feel very welcomed. The apartments are within minutes to a main road with restaurants, banks, super markets, and the beach and board walk.
I recently traveled to Barbados early June for my birthday. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly; they checked in on my friends and I daily and gave us great advice of places to visit, places to eat and booked a catamaran excursion for us that picked us up and dropped us off. This was my first trip to Barbados. I selected this hotel specifically for the design, decor and aesthetics.... and yes the hotel is as beautiful and vybesy as pictured.
