My family and I stayed here for 6 nights and had the most amazing time! The property is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, and just the right amount of isolation in the mountains. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, always checking to make sure you're having a great time. The excursions were fantastic, we highly recommend the white water rafting! I took my 6 year old daughter on it, and felt very safe with the expertise of our guides. If you are looking for a true getaway in nature,...
Our Room was more like a suite with kitchenette, small sitting area and huge shower.
Breakfast was amazing... Better than in the "fancy" =expensive hotel we moved to.
Good location between towns of quepos and Manuel Antonio !!!
Would definitley go back.
My sister and I spent three nights at the hotel. We had an outstanding experience. The room and bathroom were modern and spotless and the beds comfortable. The room was a bit on the small side, but adequate. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating, whether it was to make reservations, get taxis, or even to get an excellent physical therapist/masseuse in on Christmas Day to help relieve the pain from a pinched nerve in my neck. The included breakfast by the pool had a nice...
My mom and I stayed at La Mariposa. We had separate rooms. I stayed in room 45 and she was in 24. The views from both rooms were breathtaking! My room had a better view and had a coffee pot, fridge, microwave, and stovetop also pots and pans, flatware and plates. My moms room did not, but I paid more for my room. Both rooms were decorated plain and simple but nice and clean. My room had ants though but I figured we were surrounded by a jungle. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was...
A nice, small hotel literally a few steps from the Park entrance. A great location for the area. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great. Good starting point for our Costa Rica trip.
The monkeys on the roof in the morning were free-of-charge.
Is this the Ritz? No, but it is clean and comfortable.
If you're a posh traveler, then perhaps this won't be your spot, but if you're a regular person, don't hesitate to stay here.
Amazing property! Lots of wildlife to be seen. Beautiful beach! Concierge Laura available via text and was super helpful. Better guidance at checkin would help - how to use safe, convenience store, pool locations…
Good restaurants within easy walk.
Beautiful landscape, lots of wildlife (monkeys & iguanas), air conditioned big rooms and 3 pools. Felt like a resort it’s ok that there was no TV in the room because there’s usually only Spanish speaking shows (and we don’t know that much Spanish, however having a refrigerator in the room. I missed looking for that when I booked.
We stayed in the two-bedroom villa. It was a little difficult getting to at first but it worked out. We had an enjoyable stay. The staff were great and the restaurant/bar was a good option for convenience, if nothing else. The road up is a bit challenging by U.S. standards but we had a 4X4 SUV. I honestly do not know how anybody drives a sedan. With all the potholes and dirt roads, you would tear up your car. We would stay again at this property.
We had a great experience staying at peace of paradise. The room was plenty spacious, with the sofa bed in the living room and a nice balcony. Mike was super helpful and friendly with tips around the town and we even saw lots of animals when eating breakfast in the courtyard. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was very close to the park/grocery store/restaurants. Would definitely recommend !
I had a great time at Casa Lamia. I will miss the staff, Maday, Brian, and Ariel in particular. The treats Maday left, and the fun she evidentally had doing it, left me thinking that I have never had anyone take such delight in helping me have fun -- and I was married for 20 years!
The room has a minimalist backing with tasteful decorations to make it unique and calming, more like a frame for the view out the large window. It was described as Bauhaus Chic, and I think that fits.
The view of...
Everything was great! The owner of the hotel is very nice & helps out with anything you need! The rooms give alot of space for all your things & has very cold AC. The Wi-Fi was working great & I had a good time within my stay. I stayed for 3 nights & 4 days & didn’t have any problems!
A beautiful resort hidden on a winding dirt road atop a hill set among the trees and wildlife with an exceptional view of the Pacific Ocean below. This resort recently opened to the public in January 2024. Upon arrival we were immediately relaxed and at peace, secure in the knowledge that we’d booked a great spot to enjoy Costa Rica. It’s a bed and breakfast style in the sense that breakfast was included each day. Our room was spacious and modern with a luxurious bed facing out toward nature and...
