This was my retreat experience and was delighted by the place. I see that EXPEDIA rates it at 3 1/2 star but would consider this place much higher. Am from Costa rica and eent to this hotel with my parents. Amazing service all the staff will be there to help you. Beautiful location very close to San Jose ( about an hour and a half). Clean and neat rooms. The breaking point is the restaurant. Nice an clean friendly staff but they take forever to bring your plate ( not exaggerations. 45 mins at breakfast. 1 hour to lunch. Same menu two dinners in a row and lunch). Other than that the beach is half a mile away and enjoyable place.
