The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a very good experience. There was also plenty of parking.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a portion of our honeymoon. From the start, we loved everything about it. Staff were super friendly and helpful with check in, and then will drawing on a map for us to help us find things to do in Galway. The included breakfast was really good. The West restaurant (upstairs) was a little too fancy for us, so we ended up eating down the street at O'Grady's on the Pier. It was amazing seafood. Wonderful hotel right on the waterside with beaches and broad walk. Great restaurant on property plus ample parking. Would stay there again and have already recommended to others.

Nice hotel right on Galway Bay. I visited in late September but would be lovely in summer. Spacious room, good breakfast. Spa services available but I didn’t use them. About 1.5 miles / 25 minute pleasant walk to Galway town center. Large hotel that seems to be used for conferences and meeting point for larger tour groups.

This is a stunning property with very professional and friendly staff. There is a beautiful perimeter walk on property, around the golf course and grounds which can include the lake (~1.2-1.5 mile circuit). The food in Palmer’s bar was fine, we liked the chicken supreme quite a bit and the wait staff, especially Derry, was wonderful. This was a lovely large room in a stately home tucked away from the lively Salt Hill seaside promenade. Unfortunately we hit rush hour traffic as we approached. inching through the busy Salt Hill city center. We arrived during a rare heat wave. Like most accommodations in Ireland, there were was no AC or fans and no television. The location was phenomenal for easy access to Galway city centre. The staff was incredibly helpful. I do wish the WiFi signal was a little stronger in our room. We had to be by the door in order to get a decent signal.

Good location in relation to Town staff was friendly

When I booked this hotel, I was so excited to see it in person. The Dean did not disappoint in all areas. Upon arrival, the front desk staff (I didn't get their names) shared the best things about Galway, how to access them and engaged in a conversation that made you feel like you were a guest in their home. Great space, felt restful and peaceful

The property was very charming. It was a short drive into Galway and had lots of parking available. The gardens were lively but we weren't able to use the outdoor space due to the weather. The breakfasts were incredible and the host, Derek, was very helpful with suggestions on everything from parking downtown to nearby sites to see.

The breakfast was amazing and the water view rooms are wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay. The bed was comfortable and room clean with all the necessary amenities. The hotel has a huge restaurant and Irish bar with many different rooms and 2 levels to accommodate all types of clientele! They had live music and the performances were amazing! The best part was the customer service provided with care, kindness, enthusiasm and pure happiness, always quick with help and a smile from their employee Niall, he was such a pleasure! Decor is very dramatic. Nice place, nice staff. Pretty clean, food was good. Nothing bad to say but if you don’t own a Valentino suit, you might not match the furniture.

A very nice hotel with a great location, only a block from the train. Easy to walk everywhere. By far the friendliest staff of any of the hotels we stayed at in Ireland. Would recommend to friends and family.

Clean spacious room with in room coffee, tea and water. Use of robe if needed. Ample covered parking.
