Everything about the Hotel Riu Sri Lanka was great. The staff, the food, the facility--you couldn't ask for a better experience.

We had arranged to stay at this hotel for only two nights at the end of a week long tour around Sri Lanka. However due to checking out of another hotel in the Galle area as it did not match our expectations we arranged an additional night which was no issue for them. What can I say that hasn't already been said? From the time you enter the massive fortress doors, you are ushered into paradise. The staff is top notch--nothing is too small or overlooked. The rooms are massive and I'd recommend an ocean view room at the very least. Waking up to the ocean from your double glass French doors is spectacular. Exceptional resort in terms of location and hospitality. Devinda and Barana were very resourceful and welcoming.

It was an amazing stay with my parents and my grand mother. Good access, nice pool, beautiful sun sets and most importantly, excellent service. Can improve on extra bed (for a triple room) and better range with the breakfast buffet (need sea food)

So happy to have found this boutique hotel for the last day in Srilanka. The sushi restaurant had no digital menu on their IG account and had a very long wait time for orders but presuming that's because it was very quiet not many guests... Aside from that, beautiful experience in Hikkaduwa!
