"We stayed here the night before hiking Mt. Whitney, so it was a short night for us! The hotel is nothing fancy, but it was great. Very clean, comfy beds, good AC. Just what we needed."

"The room was clean but there was ambiguity about the community bathroom situation. We were not prepared. Other than that, it was quiet and peaceful."

"The property is definitely dated. It’s perfect for a Hiker that doesn’t mind an old microwave and refrigerator and older furnishings. But I have to say, it is EXTREMELY clean and the beds are very comfortable so when you’re prepping or coming back from hiking Mount Whitney it is a wonderful respite. the staff is also super nice and has no problem coming out late to check me in with a friendly smile. There is also pressure in the showers thank God wish most hiking places don’t have. Would definitely recommend for any Hiker passing through. It is literally only 20 minutes to the portal."

"Everyone was really friendly and I LOVED that they have an ice machine! My favorite taco truck is around the corner… what more could I ever want? I have a lot of friends who hike Mount Whitney this time of year… if you want some exposure, let me know. 😉"
