The grounds of the hotel are absolutely beautiful and breath taking, and the gardens beautifully maintained. We had the sea view room which didn’t disappoint - a beautiful view over Agia Galini! Beautiful grounds, pool and vistas. Very friendly staff, and breakfast was very good. Just be aware you’re driving narrow country roads to get up to the property, about 1/2 mile outside Archanes. We’d do it again without hesitation, but probably not with the unit we booked. It had a loft bedroom with steep stairs and low ceiling height for half the loft. Fine for shorter folks or younger people. Not ideal at age 70.

We initially had booked 2 nights here and had fortunately not booked any of our 3 remaining nights in Crete. As soon as we stepped foot in the place, we immediately booked another 2 nights. The house was amazing! It had a full kitchen, loft, wooden spiral staircase, 2 bathrooms, and 2 balconies. The village itself was very quaint and friendly with exceptional views of the surrounding countryside.
