This is a hidden gem for San Isidro. Good road to access property. Friendly staff. Beautifuly landscaped property. Clean rooms. Hot shower. Comfortable beds and pillows. The pools are clean. One is deep with slides and and a jumping ledge. The restaurant and bar area has good food a drinks along with pool, air hockey, and foosball.

Our stay in Yaba Chigui Lodge was most delightful. The property is very well maintained and the design is unique with huge glass windows. The rooms are facing the jungle. Waking up in the morning we listened to the noises and even saw two monkeys. The innkeepers Juan and Ana were extremely helpful and friendly. We would come again in an instant!

I was in CR for 7 nights - my best stay and value was at Hotel del Sur. I couldn't find the place upon my arrival - thank goodness Stephanie at the front desk spoke great English and was able to guide me to the hotel. I came to learn all of the front desk staff spoke good English actually. Not only did Stephanie help me find the place, but she was super friendly and accomodating regardless of my late hour arrival. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

We loved staying here. it was a romantic, pampered experience. Manager Scott made us feel very welcome and the wonderful staff were warm and helpful and friendly. The view and the pool and the surroundings are simply heavenly. I would recommend it very highly to anyone seeking an adult-only, beautifully appointed small boutique hotel in a lush, gorgeous setting.
Peaceful place with a great vibe. The hosts Lily and Alex, their family, Morgan and all the staff, are just lovely people with a great spirit. Spent 8 days there, just sorry it couldn't be longer. The food at their restaurant 'Sud" is incredible, organic eggs, homemade jams of all sorts, the lamb chops, not to mention the deserts were among my favorites.
A place for blissful peace, mixed with tantalizing gourmet food and or cuisine of your choosing! Rosita is the breakfast cook and cleaning lady, and when I got a cold she made homemade remedies! Also Fran, the chef ordered up ideas, and took suggestions and recommendations for the food... Fran was excellent i wouldn't stay for 5 days and 4 nights a little long....

Lovely little riverfront casitas. It’s a bit removed from restaurants and bars but it gives you the option to prepare your own meals or the hosts provide some food offerings as well. Everything is in great condition and well thought out. Our stay here was great. It was so relaxing going to sleep with the sounds of the river.
Yes, as I wrote in a personal review for the owner/manager, aside from her direct, hands-on style of running the place, Paraizo Azul's biggest draw (for me) is its superb, generous SWIMMING pool, which forms the center of a very open, communal lay-out ... shadowed generously by a wide view of river delta, in front of ocean, off in the distance.
Amazing property, well thought out comfy beds with fans / power / lights for each….. two different density pillows!
There is a nice path to the river and comfy chairs to lounge in.
Owners are super friendly and communication was easy.
Parking lot is on the left side of the road about 100 feet before you reach the property on the right side of the road.
