The view and quiet peaceful atmosphere of the Yardarm Motel is fantastic. The privacy of having your own check-in and easy morning coffee is wonderful. To add to it, the owners are interesting and have a fascinating story to share if you are fortunate enough to bump into them during your stay.

We were looking for a hotel in Bangor, Maine using the internet. After looking at the pictures on line and a good price we decided to try this hotel. The room was very large and modern.
It's not the 4 Seasons - but it was perfect for the trip to the Maine coast. We used it as a base for several days exploring the area, including Acadia Nat. Park - only 1 hour away. Would highly recommend it. The view of the bay, the fireplace and extra-large tv made it feel very comfortable.
Excellent hotel with great customer service! Rooms were modern and spotless. The heated saltwater pool was a plus. The front desk staff was universally incredible - amazing customer service. Breakfast was good. What's to complain about?
Our overall stay was pleasant. The staff was very friendly. Salli at the front desk took good care of us. All the hotels around Acadia are fully booked and very expensive. HJ Bangor is little further away but reasonably priced and convenient. The breakfast was good. The owner and staff are very polite and make you feel

Perfect for visiting my parents. The bay view is beautiful and the walkway along the river is perfect for your morning walk. The staff are very accommodating, helpful, and pleasant.
The Bucksport Inn was very comfortable, spacious and clean and was a wonderful place to stay with our large dog . Picnic table and plenty of room to walk around the grounds. There is a Dunkin Donuts next to the motel and a McDonald near by. Strongly recommend.
This was a wonderful trip. We were close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We got to spend long days traveling around, and coming back to a hotel room that was absolutely beautiful! Super clean, wonderful staff, breathtaking views! Can't wait to go again! The food at the restaurant was amazing! Love everything about it!
We rented one bedroom Apartment. There website doesn't have any pic of the inside of the apartment so we called the management office to find the details. We also told them that we will reach late on the day of our check-in. They left the key in a box outside the management office. They also added directions to our apartment which was close by.
