Beautiful hotel and rooms. We felt so comfortable and relaxed here. The staff was exceptional!

The hotel is very nice. I totally remodeled. The rooms are soundproof and you cannot hear a single thing. Great location and a great staff. Would definitely stay there again.

This property was very nice excellent location, good view of the water the room we had which was a suite was excellent. Our only complaint was I’m not sure if this was a training hotel for staff staff, but the staff was not knowledgeable of the area or helpful about finding dining or activities

Clean Clean Clean! Staff is absolutely wonderful! Jessica was extra helpful! I would definitely stay again! The breakfast was wonderful… I have a fear of small elevators… The sweetest gal who worked in housekeeping actually accompanied me on the elevator to ensure me it was okay! ( I had a scary experience in Barcelona last Summer on a tiny elevator) The elevator works great and is fast and efficient! Amazing little boutique hotel experience!

We went into this stay fairly blind, so we weren’t sure what to expect. Let me tell you, we would absolutely stay here again. This place is perfectly appointed, check in was so easy and amazing, and you have anything you need. Be pleasantly prepared to experience Ritz Carlton style service! We had a great stay at Solar Mendoça, it is a wonderful hotel with equally as wonderful staff. The location is perfect and easy access from the train station (about a 10 min walk on level streets) also it’s very close to old town. Excelente ubicación con habitaciones amplias y muy limpias. El staff extremadamente amigable y siempre con disposición de ayudar y orientar. Desayuno bufet muy bueno, con vistas a la marina que le dan otra experiencia a uno. Quedarse en Faro muy recomendable si vas a visitar Algarve. Espero regresar.

The front desk staff were the most friendly, gracious and helpful of all staff we have encountered in nearly six weeks of European travel. The hotel is in a quiet area of the very pleasant city of Loulé within easy walking distance of the historic old narrow street part of the town. In addition to typical breakfast food, included was a delightful selection of fresh fruit and an excellent espresso or café machine.

Excellent service !!! The ladies at the front desk were super nice !! Made a to go breakfast for us due to early flight. Beds and pillows super comfortable. Great location for early flight. Would highly recommend!

Overall a very nice stay at a fun hotel. Really the only slightly negative thing I can say is the bathrooms are quite small. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

This is a nice beachside property, with excellent views either of the ocean or the sound side (ours was ocean, but we sat on the outdoor patio on the sound side a bunch too). Beyond the obvious excellent proximity to the sand, the real winner here is the people running the on-site restaurant - they really just could not be nicer and more accommodating.
