Clean, quiet, nice staff, and they kindly changed my room location when I requested. Next to a pretty good Chinese restaurant. And the sign at the breakfast buffet cracked me up. See photo.

I really enjoyed my night in a clean, pleasant room, with a window to the east to enjoy the Eastern Shore sunrise. The buffet breakfast was really good. I especially enjoyed the blueberry waffles.

I enjoyed my stay and the staff was approachable and very helpful. Consider having more than 1 restaurant opened for breakfast. I waited almost 1 hour for the food to come to my table. When it did arrive, nothing was hot. Also, do something about the flies. They were inside ascwell as outside.

This was my first time @ a bed and breakfast. The owners, Debbie and Allen are amazing. Being an introvert and there for an Ironman race, I was concerned about having to interact too much with other people. Debbie struck the perfect balance of being available but also giving people space to hide away. The property is gorgeous and clean. We had a wonderful two night stay at the hotel. The marina is beautiful with nightly rentals if needed. Our first stay and we will return. Great staff very helful. If you are looking for a peacefull,tranquil location you will like it.

I took a solo trip and picked the perfect spot. This family owned inn is great for a family trip, a romantic getaway, or for a quiet escape by yourself. The owners are such a welcoming family and made me feel very like VIP. I will be going back and recommend Sandaway to anyone looking for that getaway in the Eastern Shore. Perfect stay! The privacy and beauty of the property were top-notch!

We had a great time at the Wylder Inn on Tilghman Island (20-21 May). This is a great spot for a quick getaway, and there are many things to do on site and in the area if you want to stay longer. The staff was welcoming and responsive from our arrival to departure when our key was collected from our car so we didn't have to get out in the rain. My wife and I were celebrating our 15th anniversary and the Hummingbird Inn was the perfect relaxing and romantic getaway. Eric and Michael are gracious and accommodating hosts. The Inn is gorgeous. Our room was elegant yet comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and lots of cool shops to check out. We collected as a family on December 28 and stayed for five days. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The staff went beyond the norm to make our stay great.

The staff was amazing!! There were 2 gentlemen at the desk when we checked in, both were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived late for an event at the Avalon Theater due to bad weather and traffic, and they were kind enough to let us park in front of the hotel until after the show. They didn't want us to miss anymore of the show than we already had!

Nice location about 20 minutes from St Michaels. Hotel seemed to be newly renovated. Our room was clean with the exception of a leftover hand towel that was sitting on the desk. Other than that everything was fantastic.

This is an elegant old hotel with lovely gardens and a great view of the bay. Restaurant was very nice with fantastic views and excellent food. Best crab cakes ever! The main part of the hotel is original with low ceilings and uneven floors, and has several nice sitting rooms, nooks and alcoves. Reminds me of some European hotels I have visited.

Great price! Large clean rooms! Awesome pool, breakfast not so great but since it was such an amazing stay we didn’t mind going out for breakfast. We would stay again

I just joined a colleague at this hotel after his selection, but it was a great experience, and this was a first-time, three night stay. First, for a budget hotel, they have an acceptable gym with one ea. tread, elliptical, bike plus a multi-station; they also advertise (though I didn't get to it) an agreement with a local regular gym should you be interested. Excellent B&B with a pool! the pool was clutch because we were there probably on the hottest days of the year so going in after a long day of walking around was nice. Used the pool until 10pm. Food was good, room was clean, people were nice. What else could you ask for. The only thing I noticed (and it wasn't a big deal) was the mirror in the room was too low on the wall (I'm 5'8 and still had to bend a little) and there was only one mirror so if you're in a hurry getting ready with your spouse...

We stay here for swim meet during the weekend. They have special sign to welcome the swimmer. My kids feel really good about that. They even opened the breakfast one hour earlier to accommodate the morning warm up time. The staff are very helpful and always give guests warm greetings! We will definitely recommend to all the swimmers family.
