For me, the experience staying here was worth so much more than the small cost per night. I stayed three nights and was able to tour Cameron highlands and spend time with the family working at the property. I took a hike through the jungle, cooked over a fire, and saw the local neighnoring village. I came here looking for a different experience than what the hotels had to offer, and what I found was a peaceful oasis of nature and traditional livelihood in a modernizing agricultural region. Lots of parking around the hotel free for hotel guests. The air conditioning is not the quietest, even on the lowest fan setting its a little more noisy then modern silent AC units. Bedroom curtains thick and can block outside streetlights completely for quality sleep. Windows from my room were facing north-east, with a nice view to the mountains. Comfortable mattress. Small refrigerator in the room with a tiny freezing section. Plastic electric kettle, didn't use because it seemed dirty...
