"I stayed overnight for a leadership conference. My room was ready early so that was a plus. I had a balcony overlooking the pool with a river view, in which I witnessed an amazing sunrise. I did have an issue with the cleanliness of my shower. There was long dark hair on the shower wall where someone had shampooed their hair. This was an oversight by the cleaning crew so I have to knock off a star for that. The front desk staff was very nice and offered to send someone up to clean it. They also were nice enough to extend my checkout by 30 mins so that I can change after the conference before hitting the road. The happy hour at Swampers was packed but still a vibe. However, the bartenders were not that friendly. It seems they weren't not happy to be there or maybe to see so many of us; however, the food and drinks were good. Lastly, I had a wonderful Vita Glow massage by Tina and added an eye treatment. She was amazing! The Spa lounge areas leaves more to be desired. I believe the Spa lounge area and the in room bathrooms could use an upgrade. On a positive note, I purchased some decently priced spa products that smell yummy with awesome benefits. I look forward to using them soon!"

"The room was clean, the staff was very courteous and helpful. I enjoyed swimming in the pool. Breakfast was very good. My only complaint is that when the room was serviced, they did not make the bed. But that is minor considering all the positives. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "

"We checked in & got keys. Upon opening the door to the room it stunk like cigarettes & was extremely run down. I won’t go into detail other than run down. Staff was friendly & did not make a big deal when I checked out. I did have to come back the next morning to “check out” and They did give me my $20 cash deposit with no hassle. You get what you pay for. We ended up at the Hampton Inn downtown for reasonable fee."

"Flawless execution by the Gunrunner staff from beginning to end! The pre-arrival instructions were spot-on. Our room was clean and personalized for us when we arrived (they had left us a gift of wine and a card congratulating us for our wedding anniversary that we were there celebrating - nice touch!). We were staying in Florence to see some of the local sites and restaurants, but the highlight was the Gunrunner bar and many seating areas around the bar. We were able to listen to some live music and just chill. The ambience fit our goal for the weekend. The Gunrunner was a great experience and we look forward to going back! "
