"We had a wonderful family stay at Avila Beach Hotel! The beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water that’s perfect for snorkelling. There were always sun loungers available, making it easy to relax without having to rush down early to claim a spot. The food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
Honestly, we almost don’t want to leave this review — the more people discover this gem, the harder it will be for us to book next time! 😉
We would love to come back!"
"The property felt like an island getaway, the resort was right in front of the ocean. I enjoyed the food from all of the restaurants this resort had to offer and it was really a memorable and fun trip."
"Property was just renovated and was very clean, cozy and spacious. Walking distance to Jan Thiel beach, grocery store and many restaurants on the beach. Pool was warm and clean."
"The property was amazing. When you walked through the front doors you felt like you were in Bali. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. Food was great and the restaurant setting was beautiful. We travel a lot and it was one of the nicest properties we’ve ever stayed at."

We stayed one night for a long layover at Quints. Very welcoming staff, we felt right at home. Gorgeous room and beautiful, very well maintained, grounds. Super clean too. A big thanks to Paul for being so helpful and getting us a taxi so early in the morning! We will definitely stay there again!
Beware that Curacao taxis charge $35 no matter how short your ride is, we will rent a car next time.
We only stayed here one night due to a booking mixup in our other location. We were extremely amazed at what a lovely host Loeki was and beautiful the setting is. If you are looking for a quiet retreat for your vacation, this is the place.
Loeki did everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. My only comment would be that if you’re using navigation do not just enter Plantation Jan Thiel , it only takes you halfway down the road. Enter Landhuis Jan Thiel, into your navigation. The...
The facilities are well maintained, friendly staff, variety of options for breakfast and close to the beach. Wish there was an on site gym but there was a gym within walking distance
The hotel is super easy to get to and for us a huge plus was the free entrance to Dolphin Academy. (expensive otherwise) My daughter loves the place and was there everyday. She could even walk there herself. All very safe. We ate breakfast at the hotel across the street on the beach and that was a good deal as well. The only thing I didn't like is that there are guests that smoke, so the smoke from the neighbors on top and next to me really bothered me. There is no in room smoking so I...
Joshua was amazing and made our anniversary extra special by decorating our room. The entire staff was fantastic! My husband and I will be returning for sure
Very nice staff. Clean apartment. Take the airport transfer service at a cost. It is cheaper than the airport taxi. Definitely need a car to move around to locations as it is located in a nice but quiet residential area.
My husband and I loved everything about the place. The beach was beautiful and the snorkeling was great. We ate dinner at the restaurant the first night and it very good. I ate breakfast out on the patio overlooking the ocean. It was so beautiful and the food was some of the best food I had on the entire trip. The lady serving me was super nice and gave me great service. Both of these places are the only places on the entire island where the servers came back and asked how the food was and did...
The facilities are quite nice it is surrounded by nature so get ready to have a lot of birds visiting your terrace. If you are looking for partying this is not a place to stay it is full of family and it quite close to the ocean and you get free passes to access the ocean. I stayed in one of the bungalows and it has a large terrace space outside. The downside is that my room had a terrible smell but besides that it was a pleasant stay.
Highly recommended! Perfect location in the city; friendliest staff; clean, modern and well-designed rooms; rooftop access with pool; one of the highlights was the Mar & Tierra Restaurant on ground floor - wonderful atmosphere, food, cocktails, staff and reasonable prices; Elements is a vibe!!
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!
I traveled to Curaçao as a solo female traveler, and this was my first time traveling outside of the country alone. Safety was my biggest concern, but from the moment I arrived at Pietermaai Oasis, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and welcomed. The location is perfect I was able to walk downtown, explore the area, rent my own car, and easily get to restaurants and beaches without ever feeling uneasy.
The biggest reason my...
What a gorgeous boutique hotel in this renovated 17th century beauty! Beautiful pool overlooking the picturesque floating market & walkable to everything! staff was extremely sweet & super helpful! Highly recommend this beautiful historic beauty! Such a lovely serene courtyard too!
A little hotel boutique at walking distance from Punda and Otrabanda. Rooms are nice, clean, modern. Would love to have a hook next to the shower to hang my towel, but hey: they put a Nespresso machine in every room. If you need a hair dryer, ask for it and you will get it.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, you can ask them about what to do in Curacao or even renting a car.
Important: This is not a beach resort. The hotel is by the sea, but there is no beach (only rocks) and no chairs...
My boyfriend and I traveled to Papagayo Beach Resort and stayed in the villas. I would highly recommend them! They are spacious, comfortable, and inviting. The verandas and plantation shutters give the villas a truly tropical feel. Upon arrival you receive a cute beach bag and the villa is stocked with the most delicious espresso pods. However, after the initial four, you need to buy them. There is a fully stocked (dishes, utencils, pots/pans) kitchen that we cooked in regularly. Onsite...
