Hotel is very nice. Beach is amazing . Staff is polite. One problem: don't let the lady clean your room without you being in the room. We realized after we left that some of our clothing is missing, like 4 or 5 shirts and pants ( worth about $600). We can't say that the cleaning lady took it, however she was the only one in the room. So don't take chances, be in the room when cleaning is done.
Hidden gem in a sea of options. A bit of a hilly walk down to the beach but after eating your weight in beach gelato-it’s a welcome jaunt to get steps in and burn off the calories.
The area is a bit busy but we liked the location to get to other less crowded beaches.
Breakfast was absolutely amazing-I will miss it terribly and will not be able to stomach DIY waffle makers and stale tasteless pastries in US hotels. Staff was helpful and extremely attentive.
We just left Hotel Tamaris and I could not wait to write a review! Parking was a breeze/free. We were greeted at reception by the friendliest lady (unfortunately did not get her name) who checked us in quickly and efficiently. We were given an amazing room with the prettiest view of the sea! There was plenty of space for 3 adults with the double bed and pull out bed, all of which were very comfortable. This is an excellent hotel on the quieter side of Tucepi, a quaint sea side town. Stayed 2 nights and had a great experience. The room was spotless and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Loved being so close to great local restaurants - everything we tried was a short walk away. Would definitely stay again.
