We stayed here for a quick 4 night get away. We have many travels under our belt, and must say this resort was in our top 5. We usually stay at 5 star hotels from Tahiti to Ireland, and several caribbean islands and Mexico. We saw this hotel on the front cover of an islands magazine over a year ago and my husband said he wanted to be in that exact spot the model was, where ever it was. We were very happy with Villas de Playa II @ Dorado...the villa is in a secure location, close to many locations...shopping, dining, beaches, pool, activities and hanging out. Comfortable, clean and spacious accommodations. The villa was equipped with all essentials and even games, beach chairs and surf boards. Amenities were great, also, cable TV, internet / wi-fi, pool access, free parking. Would definitely recommend.

Looking for a local hotel, instead of the "tourist" traps in VSJ? One that is literally right on the beach? And has a bar, grill and views of the ocean on BOTH sides? Say no more. Found this place while on the plane on an impromptu, last-minute, mind-clearing weekend trip and couldn't have been more relaxed. Not busy. Not full of tourists like VSJ. Not pretentious. They have this ridiculous policy not to let Uber come to the lobby. Am I supposed to walk to the streets under the unbearable sun to get my ride? They gave the nice Uber lady a really hard time, and threatened to fine her $500. I told them I had requested she pick me up there but they were not listening. Everything in the hotel is nice but they need to stop harassing the Uber drivers. They are only trying to earn a living and their service is much superior to the local taxi .
