We stayed in the Suite, which had a big bedroom for us and a smaller one for the kids. The architecture and decorations resemble Transylvanian roots with a modern touch. We loved the pressed artwork and wished we could buy one to take home :). The pillows, bedsheets and towels were high quality. And the shower head had all sorts of "massaging modes" that were amazing after a hike.

The owners went out of their way to provide any service they can to make the stay enjoyable. They went above and beyond by doing some laundry then refused any payment. I was extremely grateful because we were running out of clean clothes. The rooms were amazing. The restaurant provided one of the finest meals we had during our trip. The property was tranquil and relaxing.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Carpathia. It was right on the main street of Sinaia and between a 5-10 minute walk to any of the restaurants in the town. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and our room was comfortable and quiet.
We kept our windows open to cool the room. Also, be careful in the shower, as we found that water tended to spill out onto the floor. We found a terrific guide in Sorin Popescu, a cab driver who provided us with a terrific...
Lovely, well maintained hotel, fronting onto a beautiful park. We had a ground floor room which was large and spacious. The bathroom was also large but there was no shower curtain for the spray over the bath. It was not clear whether there was ac - there was a thermostat but no vents. We slept well since it was cool outside. We did not try the breakfast because we had an early start and the meal would have been in a neighboring hotel.
