Everyone at the front desk was friendly, capable, and extremely professional. The breakfast was good and the service in the restaurant was also very good. Our room was very nice and sitting in our Jacuzzi late at night and/or in the morning was REALLY nice. Very comfortable bed in a soundproofed room which kept out the late-night feral cat noise overture serenading the neighborhood. This is a beautiful hotel over all. The property is fantastic. The service is terrific. The breakfast was amazing. The beds however are horrific. It’s like laying on a blanket covered slab of concrete. Hotels are in the business of sleep and should make comfort a number one priority. It’s like dipping a white table cloth in mud. The beds need to be replaced with something of real quality, like Hästens Beds, to match the beauty of the Hotel.

We stayed twice in this property during our trip to Malta. We checked in at night because our flight landed after midnight. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. They gave us a beautiful room with modern bathroom and sauna. Pity the sofa was not made into a sofa bed and all three of us had to sleep on the bed (by the way, the bed and pillows and linen are amazing). Breakfast was good, with wide choice of menu items, however I didn't like the taste of eggs.
