"I stayed for 2 days and we got there around 1130am they offered us an early check in for $35 extra which we said yes instead of waiting till 3pm. We changed headed down to the restaurant to have lunch and the bartender JOSE was awesome so nice. All staff members were really nice and helpful. Food was delicious and fresh. We had a few beers and then we started ordering Margaritas and they were super good they had different flavors. We stayed out there taking some rays got our tan and went up to the room to rest for a bit .. room was spacious for 3 of us, comfortable beds and AC was working. Only draw back was the restroom, first was the barn door the ones that slide gives you no privacy and the shower had no water pressure or the shower head needs to be replaced. But other than that it was nice. We headed out to dinner at el Tunco which is about 15 min drive from there we had RENE take us for a charge $30 round trip and he picked us up around midnight we stayed and partied after dinner. We got up early to enjoy the morning had the free breakfast and it was super delicious. We decided to go out for a late lunch at EL TUNCO, for only 25cents each way you can take the bus to el tunco during the day I think they stop running at 6pm. We did go walk around, shop, had a late lunch at Roca Sunzal the food was amazing. The Bus stops In front of the hotel Maya entrance and drops you off there too. Let the bus driver know to stop at EL TUNCO and pick up across the street to go back."

"It was definitely different than any other place we ever stayed, it was somewhat hard to find, no front desk, and the rooms (at least mine) don’t have a key. On the good side, staff was very friendly, always helpful, and there was always a police officer outside, so we really felt safe at all times!"

"The property was beautiful and the rooms were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed seeing all the natural vegetation. The coconut trees and banana trees were full of fruit and seeing many bird species was an exciting experience on its own."
