Property is absolutely gorgeous. Great for adult family of 6. Private beach, great security getting into and while on property. AC, hot water, super clean, outdoor shower with pool, hammocks, what else can you ask for! We loved this place. Stella, our host, was a great communicator and helped us on a number of occasions. We did not have a rental car. Used private drivers, Ubers and local buses and we were fine. Thank you Stella!
I stayed 2 weeks in one of the "long stay" rooms. So you know what you're getting:
- The food was excellent.
- El Zonte during the off-season is a very sleepy town.
- It's a 3 or 4 minute walk to get from Hotel Michanti to the beach.
- The rooms were clean and very basic: No TV, no hot water, cement floors (at least in the long stay rooms).

This place exceeded my expectations. We stayed in their largest suite, which comfortably accommodated seven guests. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making our stay truly enjoyable. The pools, views, and breakfast were all exceptional. Everything was so perfect! I only stayed for two nights, but I wish I had extended my stay. I will definitely be returning.

I loved the pool. I'm a swimmer and the pool was open enough to do laps, especially in the morning and in the evening. The food is excellent. I tried several finger-licking delicious dishes, but my favorite was the fresh fish ceviche. The staff was attentive and friendly. The beach had several lifeguards watching out for surfers, but the left side of the beach is rocky and hard to navigate. Atami Resort is gorgeous. The pictures don't do it justice. The room itself was disappointing, and the water wasn't hot enough for my taste, but I would book it again based on how beautiful the grounds are and how enjoyable it is simply to be there. I will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed at Casaola Mizata for a friend’s wedding nearby and had a wonderful experience. The property is clean, quiet, and charming—just steps from the beach. The pool was crystal clear and refreshing. While there’s some cosmetic chipping due to sun exposure, it doesn’t affect how clean and relaxing the space is.
