It was a wonderful stay. Property is still fairly new with modern fixtures (comfortable bed, nicely tiled bathroom, wooden floors and central heating/cooling, well operated elevator) and is maintained to an extremely clean level. Don't let the name fool you. This could easily be a Vivanta, Taj or Hyatt. It is run like a 4 star property. The staff have an incredible "can do" attitude for even the most challenging requests. I was very impressed as a westerner - especially as Best Westerns are not exactly 4stars in the US. Super plus points on the shower which was never ending hot with exceptional pressure. Amenities, views and rooftop terrace sets this property apart from everything in Mcleod Ganj
