"There are many things to love about this hotel, and that would be the fabulous enormous pool and the lovely staff. And there are some things that could definitely be improved. They are minor things that could make my review a 5-star. My list: 1) Since we can't put toilet paper in the toilet, please have garbage cans that can be closed. 2) How about containers of shower soap and shampoo instead of teeny tiny tubes. 3) A soap dish for bar soap so it's not on the wood bathroom counter. 4) A better breakfast buffet with fresh bread and pans that keep food hot after it's cooked. All in all, it was a nice hotel for a good price and if you want a nice pool, this was the place."

By far the best of any hotel we’ve stayed at, from the owner’s personal welcome to the attentive, smiling employees who are always looking for ways to make your day. There are too many thoughtful details to name, from cookies and milk at bedtime to the incredible coffee bar, dedicated tuktuk service, handcrafted organic toiletries, reusable water bottles, ice cream offered (repeatedly) at the poolside … we just cannot rave enough about this hotel. "The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very attentive, listened carefully, and took quick action on any requests. Pub Street is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. You can also book different tours directly through the hotel. The rooftop swimming pool was a highlight—we enjoyed watching the sunset from there."
