The property is just as charming as it looks in the pictures. Corcoran's Pod is cozy and perfect for couples. We loved the location as it is about half way between Killarney and Cork and we were visiting both. The hostess, Moira, and her sweet dog Poppy, were very welcoming and friendly. Would absolutely stay again if we get to go back to Ireland in the future!
This was probably one of my favorite hotels in Ireland. I loved the easy parking for our cars, the rooms, amenities, and the bar. The staff there are all top notch, the hotel itself is lovely, and the location is wonderful. It seemed very quiet there. The only issue is coffee. If in-room coffee suits you, then no issues for you. But if you want good coffee at the hotel it's $20 room service, or the $60/pp breakfast. We stayed two nights at the Radisson Blu in Cork. It was a nice, clean hotel. Our family of four stayed in a family room which was two rooms connected. One room had a queen or king size bed. One room had 2 single beds. It was very nice having 2 bathrooms to shower and dress in the mornings. Staff was friendly. Pool/spa area was lovely. Food in the bar was very good.
This is a great hotel. The room is large and very comfortable. The staff have been incredible and the food in the restaurant is fantastic. It’s also incredibly convenient to the city and the bus if you want to explore the county.
This hotel had resort style amenities that we didn't expect, but thoroughly enjoyed! The night we arrived they were having a bingo and disco for the kids, which was very fun. They had mini golf and a full ropes course/zip line/climbing wall that was a really good value for the money. The kids really enjoyed this aspect.
