Super clean and inviting. Bungalow has the basics - fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes. Property is constantly cleaned. Courteous staff. Great location. Beach towels provided. Balcony has great view. Would come again.
This was a clean and pretty property right on the beach, we loved the beach entrance. I went with my parents and sister (family vacation!) and Melaque is the cutest little town. Las Hamacas is perfectly located and we were able to walk to downtown for dinner.
The hotel was awesome! We had a nice beach view room, Julio at the front desk was so great, and answered all questions we had, very attentive, welcoming and really accommodating. Very clean, feet from the beach, nice pool, happy hour on the roof was pretty nice too, and such an awesome sunset view from the roof. I will be staying here every time I go to Barra! and you also can't be the price!
I love staying at Cabo, as it is truly stunning! The grounds are beautiful, the staff is welcoming and the pool is clean. The location is wonderful as you can take a short walk to town if you want a bit more activities.

Casa Misifus was perfect for my wife and I. We loved having a refrigerator and kitchenette, the a/c was SO nice to come home to, and the pool was perfect and refreshing. The proprietors were friendly and helpful and very accommodating about our breakfast needs. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend it. Our only complaint is that it's a much longer walk to the beach than we'd thought. A lot of sites list it as one block from the beach, but really you have to walk into town...
I have looked at all the hotels in Barra and this is by far the best one. Its right on the beach, you sleep with the sound of the waves, the rooms are clean, beds comfy and its great value for beachfront.
And the owner works miracles!

We took the bus from PV to Melaque, hoping that our stay at Star of the Sea would salvage a vacation that had been anything but restful....from the moment we were picked up at the bus station by Eileen until we left, 4 days later, we were treated like royalty!

I really like the friendliness of the staff, though I had a unit that did not have air conditioning. The swimming pool was right outside the door and it is really a very good idea to get used to the heat in Mexico. Everything was more than acceptable, and the cost was very economical. I think the staff for a good stay.
