We loved our stay at Key West Cottages. The staff was very helpful and guided us to a pleasant and fun-filled trip. The cottage itself was new and very clean and comfortable.
Beautiful hand-painted walls and stairs. Very comfortable room & bed. No staff present at all for check-in - not a problem, but no one to ask questions. I forgotten a toothbrush- no place to get one anywhere nearby. Also - they had lovely Pellegrino waters, but no opener for them! Coffee in the room would be a huge plus. Otherwise it was wonderful!
I was looking for a place to stay in Chincoteague, Va. My youngest son and his wife were coming from Northern Virginia to meet me and my wife coming from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Our goal was to show my son's wife the wild ponies of Assateague Island. Also the statue of "Misty of Chincoteague" in the local park. Stayed 3 nights. The staff was more then willing to assist or help in anyway I needed. Starting with the woman at the desk when I checked in. Polite and friendly explained what the motel had and when they have breakfast in the morning. By the way a real hot breakfast, not just pastries and coffee. The rooms were very clean. It was a totally pleasant experience. This will be my first choice of motels when I visit again next fall.
