"A great hotel, especially for an overnight stay near the airport. The airport shuttle was very convenient. The staff were super friendly and gave us our first try of Turkish coffee as soon as we arrived. The room was clean, and we had more than enough room for 3 guests - each with our own beds. Everyone was helpful and able to communicate in English. We always felt safe. They even gave us a bagged breakfast for our 4 am departure! I stayed this hotel from 7/15 to 7/19. I stayed on the 25th floor which is one of the executive floors. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel. The amenities are excellent and the staff at the hotel were so kind. It was super clean and just so beautiful. Özen (Ozzie -the night concierge) was the best concierge I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The first night we had a problem with the room, not only did he fix it quickly, but provided us several options and made sure to check on us everytime he saw us and sent some Turkish Delight to our room. I have never met a more genuine and caring person.

I booked Elysian due to an extended layover at IST airport. They do offer a car service transportation to and from the airport for 30 euro each way. I took a taxi for less than 500 TRY each way (< $13). The room was spacious enough for 1 or 2 people. The rooms were nicely decorated with modern finishes and plenty of lights.
There is a room service menu in room with Turkish dishes. There are also restaurants nearby that are slightly uphill, but many nearby that a car is not needed.
