Lovely communal kitchen area for cooking our own meals. The family that runs the pension is abundantly hospitable, and it was lovely to see the small museum of artifacts the father has accumulated over the years. Really close to the Lycian Way Trail along with restaurants and markets within 10 minutes of walking distance.
When I arrived, they asked if I was “Sir David” and I liked that. Be sure to ask for two keys because one keeps the ac on while you are out. Otherwise the ac shuts off when you remove the key from the key slot. I was concerned the property would be hot because the trees are young but the sun drops behind the mountain and everything is in the shade. Other places have poor breakfast reviews so I was on the lookout but the breakfast was very good here. I attached a photo of ours. We were late...
I stayed solo for 3 days, and really enjoyed my time at this lovely little hotel. It was tucked away into the hillside and so nice and quiet, but my balcony offered a beautiful view of the bay and mountains, and it only takes minutes to walk or drive down to the coast, or a beautiful forested road for a hike or stroll. Everything was well kept up, and the staff were lovely and accommodating. Food was also plentiful and delicious. Would definitely stay again.
We really loved our time at this property and wished we could have stayed longer! The property is so charming and our bungalow was super cute, clean, and comfortable. We were had a Turkish coffee with the owner before we checked out and he was such a kind man. We will definitely come back some day for a longer stay.
