The hosts were very nice and helpful with advice for our travels. Breakfast was fabulous, and our room was comfortable and clean with a large jetted bathtub that was perfect.
Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. This Hotel was beautifully finished. We did have trouble finding it and drove by the front several times. The staff here is great and breakfast was superb. Easy to get Bus 40 to the train station in Aalst for a train to Brussels. Laundry was across the strrret but its token machine was out of order. We found another place 2 miles away.
Beautiful property with a nice spa. The room was very quiet and the bed comfortable. Overall, I had a great stay.
For Improvements, I would recommend to switch form bottled waters in the room and spa to filtered water with glasses to save on plastic.
Lastly, the breakfast was nice but I didn’t feel like it was worth nearly 30 euros.
Wonderful property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication was quick and clear. Lots of thought put in to additional touches. Would highly recommend staying here if traveling to Ghent.
The building has it's antique style of the city. Located in a great location a block away for a tram. The room we were in was a suite very specious. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Very clean.
The staff are amazing! Very helpful and attentive to the guests. Thr cleaning staff were very considerate and professional to our needs. We had great conversations.

I had mixed feelings on one of the front desk workers but everyone else was VERY friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, if a little stark. The breakfast was good, and I enjoyed the pastries. My only real complaint was that the room was too warm and I couldn't get it to cool down.
